Sex and Relationships Therapy

I have over 15 years of experience working in the field of sex and relationships in educational, public health and therapeutic roles.

I support individuals, couples and those in multi-partnerships with psychosexual, sexuality and relationship issues.

I have an advanced accreditation as a gender, sex and relationship diversities therapist. I practice queer affirmative and neurodivergent affirmative therapy. I am sex-positive and kink-aware.

Whether you are seeking individual therapy or want to attend within a partnership, I can support you with a range of issues, including:

  • deepening effective communication within your relationship/s,

  • understanding your attachment patterns

  • negotiating sex, setting boundaries and asking for what you want

  • disinterest in sex, loss of libido, erection difficulties

  • navigating gender and sexual identity, including in the context of other aspects of identity such as race, religion, faith, culture and neurodiversity

  • navigating consensual non-monogamy

  • addressing the impact of alcohol and drugs on sexual behaviour, including chemsex

  • addressing compulsive sexual behaviour or compulsive use of porn

  • coming to terms with sexual health diagnoses such as HIV and herpes.

Using integrative psychotherapy and IFS, I can help you explore and deepen your understanding of issues relating to your sexuality, sexual behaviour, and relationships.

I have also completed Intimacy from the Inside Out, the Internal Family Systems relationship therapy programme accredited by the IFS Institute, and the Gottman Institute couples therapy training levels 1 and 2. You can read more about my approach to relationship therapy here.

I welcome people in all kinds of partnerships, including those practising consensual-nonmonogamy. If you are interested in having therapy with those beyond a primary partnership (i.e. a polycule), you are welcome to contact me to discuss if my approach might meet your needs.

If you are having physical difficulties, such as pain during sex or problems with erections, you should visit your GP to rule out medical causes. Your GP can also refer you for free, short-term psychosexual therapy.
